# Quote Cross-chain Withdrawal

> Circle's fee for a withdrawal route, and whether Chipi pays it back for this user

Withdrawals use fast finality (a standard transfer out of Starknet waits hours for the L1 proof), so Circle takes a fee from the burned amount, 12 bps to Base on 2026-10-24. When `sponsored` is true Chipi's relayer pays that fee back to the recipient on the destination chain, so they receive the full amount. Display only: Chipi resolves sponsorship again when the burn is recorded.
